All about Nicole!

Meet nicole

Nicole is a fun-loving, transparent woman who loves her family. She has been married to "the love of her life" Robert for 26 years and they have 2 amazing, and highly gifted adult sons Alex and Keagan. Nicole believes she would not be the person she is today without their love, support and her faith in Christ Jesus.

career as a cosmetologist

Nicole is an entrepreneur and a licensed cosmetologist with over 28 years of experience as a hairdresser and over 15 years of experience as a cosmetology instructor. Nicole believes in educating everyone on achieving and maintaining healthy skin and hair. Through the years as a salon professional, she has been fueled by the passion to encourage women to see their true beauty inside and out through the world of beauty. Nicole has dedicated her entire adult life to the beauty industry. Discovering years later, Beauty would be her Ministry.

Nicole The Author

Nicole has always had a love for writing. She loved scrapbooking as a teenager well into my adult life. But Nicole didn't see herself as good enough to write something others would want to or purchase. To her surprise, that was not the case. In 2016, she, her husband, and editor self-published her first book. It is hard for Nicole to wrap her mind around being an author due to her struggle with dyslexia. Fast forward to today, she can say humbly, she has authored 5 books and more to birth. Nicole has always been described as an "overcomer," working hard daily to fight the good fight of being dyslexic. Nicole often says, "God definitely had a sense of humor, when He called her to be a Writer." Nicole admits that it is hard to imagine all she has accomplished as a writer without any formal training. As an anointed writer she knows where her help comes from, and she is grateful for every word, idea, gifted for her to write and publish.

Recently, she was asked to write for The Lextropolis Digital Magazine as a columnist. Being a part of this magazine has stretched her to higher heights.

Nicole has been writing since her youth and one of her many goals is to become a "Best-Selling Author."

Gifted in the art and business of cosmetology, Nicole understands that "Beauty is her Ministry." Because of her faith and love for Jesus Christ, Nicole is called to challenge, spark, teach, serve, and empower women to discover and embrace their true identity from their God-given beauty inside and out. She has a mandate "to set the captives free" by strengthening women through her customized courses she has developed to help you walk out freedom to be all God has called you to be. She calls it, “Beauty with a Twist"!

Community

Like family, community is important to Nicole. Not only does she influence women, but she also provides a platform where women can share their life experiences, learn and grow from each other, as we support one person. Cultivating a community of "Sisterhood of who believe." The ultimate goal is to refuel and recharge you for life's journey. As a "Bridger of the gap", it brings her great joy to salute women at her Holy Spirit-inspired annual event "Honoring You Day," which has been a blessing to everyone who attends. This epic event had been going strong for 9 year and is for all women looking to connect with other like-minded individuals.

Monday evenings have become a special time for Nicole as she meets up with the ladies for the weekly Bible and Book Studies she facilitates. Nicole also, enjoys hosting faith-based personal development workshops 3 times a year. She loves to promote and spotlight and teach other entrepreneurs with their small businesses.

In the many seats she fills, Nicole recently joined the amazing team at The Haven Care Center, as a counselor, for the post-wounded. This is a ministry that serves and supports those who are facing unplanned pregnancies. Nicole is multifaceted and loves every bit of what she has been called to do.

It is intended to educate and bring awareness to your beauty options, techniques, and practical practices to help you with your beauty habits. Imagine sitting in the classroom as she taught her students in beauty school.

Young and Love struck

This creative writing is Nicole's first Novel! This book is a book about love, loss, and restoration. Some would say it reminds them of the account in the Bible about the Prodigal Son. Except her name is Tori Richards. In her last year of high school, she is caught between young love, family, and her values. Her story is a great reminder of what it was like to be "Young and love struck."
